PFB is committed to continuous improvement through the use of innovative control technologies.
Specialised independent laboratories carry out micro and macro-structural analyses, tensile, compression, corrosion and fatigue tests and electron microscopy analysis.
We use GESPRO software for our business management, which also includes a quality system and production orders with barcode system.
PFB is certified ISO9001 and ISOTS16949. These certifications were issued by TÜV.
The metrology lab is equipped with the following measuring devices:
- Bosello SRE Max X-ray machine of the latest generation, for the structural verification of die cast parts;
- 3D DEA machine for dimensional measurements allowing the dimensional inspection also of very complex and structured parts.
- Spectrometer, for verifying the chemical structure of the ingoing raw material and during the production cycle;
- Traditional measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers in thousandths and hundredths, plane-parallel blocks, roughness tester, penetration liquid, smooth and threaded pads, thickness gauges, digital altimeter and infrared pyrometers.
